Grit Girls are fearless, even when they don’t feel like it!
Fear is a big issue for many of us. One of my favorite verses is found in Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me, Your rod and Your staff they comfort and console me.”

Notice a couple things:

1. David is talking about walking through a valley of death, somewhere dark – it’s a place of FEAR.
2. One of the key words here is SHADOW, David is walking through the valley (fear) but it’s only a SHADOW. Did you know shadows aren’t real? They are simply a large picture of something, in and of themselves they are literally NOT REAL.
3. You are with me – He, Jesus (the rod and the staff are symbolic of Jesus) are always there and they will comfort you!

Next time you feel fear like a giant shadow covering your mind and your heart – remember it’s only a picture, it’s only fear – it’s not real but JESUS IS.
