On June 5th, 2020 I sat on my daughter’s bed anticipating a call from my doctor. Her words started with, “are you alone right now?” and ended with “Sunday, I really didn’t want to make this call.” The only words that matter from the call that day are, it’s cancer. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal cancer.  After meeting with my oncologist for the official report, I’d barely made it to the elevator when I heard something on the inside. It was as if Jesus was standing next to me and His words felt more real than even the grim diagnosis I’d just been given. It was a declaration of sorts when I felt He said, “The stage has been set!” I’m inviting you into my story, to follow the journey, and to experience hope as I take this journey to a miracle.
